Christmas Wonder

Images copyright Stampin' Up! 1989-2009
On a wet and thundery afternoon, with the kids playing nicely with the playdough and Lego (though not together), I had the opportunity to spend some time casing stuff on Splitcoaststampers, aiming to be inspired in order to design some cards for my Friday night class. But alas I got side tracked and just had to make these cards. Thanks to Patty (LaLatty) on splitcoaststampers she had made a card using one sheet wonder (OSW), so I had to too. I stamped one sheet of A4 card and then cut it up to make cards. From that one sheet of stamped card I made the ten cards above. What I used:
Stampset: Snow Swirled
Ink: Real Red, Glorious Green
Cardstock: Whisper White, Real Red, Glorious Green
Other: 1/4" Real Red grosgrain ribbon
The snow swirled stampset (pg 30 of the catalogue $53.95) must be one of my favourites, I have been waiting to use it since the new catalogue came out in April, and I am loving it. Call me today to order yours.
Guess the planning for Friday night will be happening tomorrow after the Stampfest planning - do I really need another excuse to stamp??

Wedding Expo

Projects created by Carolyn Loveday, Donna Calley and Jess McDonald.
Some items were inspired by items seen on Splitcoastampers and swaps from convention.

It has been an amazing weekend. I spent some time at the Sista's Conference on Friday and Saturday night's and Sunday at the Wedding Expo. It was great to meet so many new people and to share the passion for stamping. If you are someone I met over the weekend, welcome!

I very much appreciate the team members that enable that to happen. The Wedding Expo meant we spent time having fun making the may things that were on display. I know that I have many more ideas floating around in my head, but not enough hours in the day. The range of Stampin' Up! products means you can make a huge range of coordinating products from invitations, to table settings, including place names and party favours, and thank you cards. You are only limited by your imagination.

I am happy to help you plan your stationery, you might even like to hostess a workshop where you could earn hostess benefits helping towards your stationery, or it maybe an opportunity to up skill your willing team of helpers who are going to help you make your items. Drop me a line fencarrowsmum@gmail.com or call me (09)2383878.

Addition to the family

Surprise, surprise, Stampin has taken a bit of a back seat over the past few days, I haven't photographed all the things I was going to put on my blog, the reason is that I now have a new nephew, so the family has to be number one priority this week. I have taken the excited cousins shopping to choose something for the new baby, plus I have had to be a patient Mummy sitting down with the three masters so each of them could make a card themselves (sorry I can't show them to you as I let them use my new stamps from our training on Saturday and they are not released yet). In addition to that I have had to finish my gift. Not content with something off the shelf, I had to make something, in wool this time, not paper or card. Lets hope the new mummy is up to visitors this afternoon.
